About The Artwork

This work is a collaboration between me and painter and friend Carey Maxon, whose work in the permanent collections of the Whitney Museum and MoMA. I had been experimenting with skull compositions, and she got in touch with me to tell me she wanted to paint dots on one of my skulls. So after a few passes, I came up with a skull I liked for the project, and she completed the painting...
