About The Artwork
This is my first acrylic painting. As I don't appreciate the fast drying nature of acrylic, I created this work as you can see in a very wet whole approach. This required the use of creativity within a limited window of time which I really enjoyed. I would like to create another in the future. I believe you will find that although it is abstract in nature, that it is very engaging and the patterns you find will keep you exploring for a long time to come. Once dry, I painted a few layers of polycrylic gloss varathane so it is easily cleanable and has a nice even semigloss finish. 1 1/2 inch edges are also painted so framing is not required.
