About The Artwork
This acrylic, gouache, crayon and marker painting is a bright, vibrant piece that offers a pop of color and warmth to any space in which it is displayed. It features a beautiful, fully opened bouquet of luminously colored gouache lilies in a simple, cylindrical, porcelain delft vase featuring a washy blue windmill on white. The bouquet rests on a deeply colored tablecloth rendered in deep red, orange and pink tones and the back wall is white with soft blush pink tones seeping through, decorated with a matisse inspired leaf cutout wallpaper in which simple green shapes are decorated with simply drawn crayon leaf shapes. The bouquet of flowers features speckled lilies in orange, pink, carmine and white. The piece is painted on cradled wood board and is ready to frame or hang as is, it is varnished with a matte UV resistant spray varnish to protect from the sun and also to seal the paint onto the board.
