About The Artwork
The Blue Spirit flies free under two moons in the south of Chile, at the distance the volcanoe and an araucaria tree, all sacred symbols of the mapuche people. Arquitectural elements are suspended over the sea, are they future bridges or portals into another dimension? This work is based in the poetry of Elicura Chihuailaf, chilean mapuche poet and has been itinerating with the Colores bajo una Luna Azul exhibition at Art Centers and Museums in Chile.
