The year of the lotus brought a new light to the land, this light was a unifying presence fusing darkness with the spirit of the lotus. This brought great strength to the people of the land. As the kingdom spread, so did the roots of the lotus. This work is inspired by the beauty of this earth, and the beauty love can have once you transfer love to everything and everyone, ushering you into the state of bliss. I contribute the knowledge of my findings to the literary work by Don Miguel Ruiz: The Four Agreements. As I give love into the universe, into the trees, into the flower blossoms, that same love is reflected to you vicariously though this painting. Feel the magic feel the love. This is a great representation of color in life, as I paint my vision of the lotus blossoms that have fallen under the shimmering water of the pond.
