Living by the coast has been a constant inspiration to observe the sea every day. Noticing the changing colours and light have created the paintings vision. I am a Brighton based contemporary artist, constantly inspired by the ever changing sea and the stunning South Downs. In 2022 I exhibited and sold work in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 22. I have also just been selected to exhibit at Londons prestigious Mall Gallery from Nov 17-26 ‘23. I spend hours making observational sketches and photos that results in an intense emotional study of light and texture. Prior to becoming a full time artist I had a long career in fashion and textile design. I ran a large London design studio producing garments for all of the major high street companies.
