This painting intimates a life beyond four walls. The fourth wall opens to the viewer, offering a voyeuristic glimpse into an interior that reveals its occupant by composition. In the translation from a collage to a larger scale canvas, I preserved the sharp edges and disjoined aesthetic, resulting in a distorted sense of perspective and proportion that disorients the viewer.
