About The Artwork
We take this road to go to the farm in the west of my country close to the Cordillera de los Andes. The slopes are lower and rounded and it seldom rains here, but the landscape is beautiful in its own way. I sketch all the drive each time we go to the village to get supplies, or to visit some other place nearby. Once back home, I use the drawings as a starting point for my paintings, deciding a particular color pallette for each. In this case Iet my favorite blues win!

My style is figurative, sometimes more realistic, others expressive and even abstractive.
