About The Artwork
From the middle to latter part of the 20th century, Friedensreich Hundertwasser carved a niche for himself through the beauty of linework and colour. Hundertwasser had a distaste for straight lines, so spirals, distorted and crooked lines became his sphere. His inspired, organic lines, manifested themselves throughout parts of Europe in architectural forms, both in unique and reworked older buildings. His work to this day remains like poetry both in 2d and 3d form.
