About The Artwork
The inspiration for this painting was given to Joaquin in a dream in 2018. Joaquin was on a walk along the Schlei in Schleswig-Holstein and it was an extremely hot summer's day. When he had walked a long way from his location, he realized that he had forgotten his water bottle. He was very thirsty and felt weak. So he lay down under a shadowy tree near the path to rest for a while. After a short time, he fell into a gentle sleep. In this dream, a fairy appeared to him and told him that there was an inn just a few minutes away where he would find something to drink. The fairy told him exactly which way to go When Joaquin woke up, he naturally thought it was just a dream, but he felt that he should follow the dream. So he set off on the path that the fairy had described to him. He could hardly believe his eyes when he actually found the inn described by the fairy in his dream. Once there, he immediately ordered a nice cold beer to quench his thirst. Inspired by this incident, he then painted the painting in 2020: " A FAIRY'S GUIDE TO RIVERSIDE REFRESHMENT "
