About The Artwork

I am a great lover of beautiful aromas and perfumes and many times they inspire me in my artwork. In this watercolor I wanted to represent the essence of a colony water created in 1792 called nº 4711. At the olfactory level the frist notes are orange oil, peach, basil, bergamot and lime. The heart notes are Persian violet, lily, melon, jasmine, and Bulgarian rose. The base notes are patchouli, Tahiti vetiver, musk, sandalwood, oak moss and cedar. This work not only tries to transmit those aromas, but was also created with that same colony adding it to rainwater. I think the result is a revitalizing, harmonious and positive effect. Rainwater, 4711 colony, natural pigments on paper 300g/m – 140 lb. This painting has natural gold powder give it greater luminosity and a changing aspect according to the lighting. Size: 16 x 11,7 in (40,7 x 29,7 cm) Shipping: All my artworks are carefully packed and shipped within 2 weeks. This painting is sold unframed. Signed on back. Many thanks for the visit.

Welcome to my Saatchi Art space, where I show my traditional art. I am a multiskilled artist and a lover of color as an internal expression of mystical feelings. I feel very identified with watercolor because of its spontaneous nature and unpredictability, because it always offers unique and unrepeatable results. My works try to transmit the calm in the simple details, that I let express by themselves in natural pigments, the water of rain, the seawater and the pure cotton of the paper. All my artworks are made with handmade paint using the old traditional pigments, powders, micas and minerals. I use Lapislazuli powder, true indigo, emerald, saffron, land of Mars, etc. Sometimes I can use gold and silver leaf. Music is my greatest inspiration and for me. It is the language of the soul, and the secret of the universe. Nature is beauty in its purest form and I feel a great fascination for the sea and forests. Through its evocation I find the perfect way for spirituality and meditation. Other great influences are my studies (I have done my PhD in History of Art), my artistic family, traveling, my digital work and the photography that I love to practice. My works are done with a lot of love and I hope they fill you with the feelings of a warm breeze. Thank you very much for the visit and have a good day always.
