About The Artwork
This digital drawing is a sketch for an oil painting I hope to undertake in the near future. Do you know who Ida Dalser is and what fate she suffered? Google her name if you'd like to learn more about her! She was the unfortunate victim of a famous dictator. I've been working on a new art concept I call "Cognizant Surrealism". Call it a "movement" if you will... because I hope other's will join me in this endeavor. This piece and my painting in progress, "Prejudice" as well as several other of my pieces DO NOT follow traditional "Surrealist" ideals in that the images are not "subconcious" thoughts or dream state ramblings, but compositional rational motif's which are "narrative" by design and convey various messages. I feel that my "Neo-Constructivist" sculptures are more than likely more "me" and represent my personal style the most. Additionally, I've been working on a concept I call "Cognizantism". Most of my paintings follow this "movement". It'd be great to start a new art movement... since we ARE the artists of the beginning of the 21st Century. Also, I have a geometric style which is highly "architectonic" I refer to as "Hyper-Suprematism" (*not to be confused with "Racial Supremacist"... Please note important difference in spelling!). Will you join me in this endeavor of shaping the 21st Century? I am currently seeking representation for North America, Europe and Asia.
