Bulgaria
Born on 4th of September 1958, in Varna. Works in the field of sculpture, painting, computer graphic and photography. Rossen Stanoev is art manager from 1990 and also curator of "Hoff Gallery", Horb, Germany. He is Art manager of "House of Art", Varna in 1992. From 1992 till 1998 he is Director of "Gallery 6+". He is awarded with a gold medal for sculpture in 1984. He has participated in representative art shows in Bulgaria, Russia, Poland and Cyprus; International Art Fair in Stutgart (Germany) in 1990, presented by the HOFF Gallery; in the auctions of the BERNDT RIEBER House - Stuttgart (September - November 1990), Arts Fair in Varna 1993, IV International Photographic Salon - Varna 2010, Photography competition "Prepremiere of a city-hall" - Varna 2011. In 1985 and 1987 Mr. Stanoev staged one-man exhibitions in Varna, and in 1993 - in Munih, Germany. National and International competition has used his sculptures for awarding their winners: Prize for journalist - 1997; Fotomodel - 1997; International competition for new pop singers Discovery 99. More then 2000 works of Rossen Stanoev are owned of museums, galleries and private collections in Bulgaria, Germany, France, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Netherlands, USA, Canada, Russia, Taiwan and others. - National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts - Rochester Contemporary Art Center, NY, USA - Biennial International Miniature Print Exhibition, Vancouver, BC, Canada - Associazione Nazionale Incisori Contemporanei, Italy - collection Ronald de Wall, Belgium - Gallery Schlotterbeck, Germany - Artin Gallery, Bulgaria - RSArt Gallery, Bulgaria - collection Evelin Phillips, Germany Rossen Stanoev lives and works in Varna, Bulgaria.
