About The Artwork
The "love stripe" is meant to honour somebody, a partner, a mother, father, child, brother, sister and so on. Each stripe is made with oilcolor paint, using the impasto technique. The idea is that people give color to other people's life. The love stripe is telling how this person has enriched someone's life. Oilpaint on wood, covered with goldleaf and silverleaf, which will oxydate by time. My "love stripe' is the equivalent of the "heart" symbol. This work consists of a "love couple" with child.
