Emerald Enigma Installation

'Emerald Enigma' is a piece inspired by someone who has brought light and energy into people's lives. A beautiful person who shines like a star and who's favourite colour is green and who's soul glows with a metallic shine. I want people to look at this piece and relate to somebody who brings light into their lives. This collection of beetles is mounted onto a palette pleasing grey base, giving the beetles the perfect platform to show off their true beauty and then encased in a gorgeous white poly resin frame. All the beetles used in this piece are sourced from sustainable conservation farms. Sustainable conservation farms help not only the local population of villages and people but, help to tackle illegal poaching. More importantly, they help introduce more numbers of the species back into nature thus, assisting the fragility of the species when their habitat is under threat from 'developers'.
