About The Artwork
The fear of war that existed since when I was a child in a war torn of Vietnam. Every time we heard the sound of bombs explosion, we would quickly run to shelter and equipped our self with the war protected gears,and chanting Buddhist mantra, or the catholic would be bible. My works are inspire by the works of women artist Kathie Kollwitz (artist)1927, and sculpture Augusta Rodin which were both concern in the human condition aspect of life.I choses the black and white medium because my feel it captured the honest truth of human condition.
