Drawing the motif from reality to transpose it into a pure game of black lines, which quiver in the light and suggest the third dimension. I love Paris and especially the relationship between the buildings and the river La Seine. This bridge is the oldest one in Paris and it's for me a very romantic and melancholic place. I remember Verlaine's poem : Under the bridge flows the Seine And our loves I have to remember it Joy always came after sorrow … Drawing with a 3D pen simplify the shapes and this technique allows them to be "in the air" and plays with light and shadow.
