About The Artwork

This drawing was inspired by LIQUID SCREEN IN 19 SHORT STORIES (Editions Mdvanii, 2005) a poetic prose written in 2002 by BillyBoy* about a lone inhabitant on a future earth, living in a deserted city made of cube buildings with a single door. These drawings are part of a body of work developed through the years which include drawings, paintings (oil and acrylic) sculptures in wood in various dimensions and a series of other mediums and manifestations including painting to wear as jewellery and stand-alone miniature paintings, sculptures under domes, large sculptures inspired by doll's houses, and embroideries. Selected Exhibitions: Mudac and Musée de l'Elysée (Lausanne, 2006-2007) Kramer + Kramer (Geneva, 2008) Art-Senal (Delémont, Switzerland, 2012). The serenely romantic and captivating fiction has been the inspiration for The Temples of Fusion artworks and a large number of varied artworks (Sumiko Watanabe, Tokyo 2005 - 2020).
