About The Artwork

The old and ugly king hides in the Garten of Death. He already killed everyone, whom he could kill: all the enemies and even his last friends. But how can one defeat his the most powerful enemy, the Death? The king decides to sell his soul to the Devil in exchange for eternal life. But the Devil just laughs in his face, because this old king has nothing to sell since many-many years. The artwork is made on watercolor paper using the author's technique, combining the use of watercolors, ink pencils, and acrylics.

My name is Natalia Andrushaewa. I am an artist. I was lucky and realized in early childhood that drawing is the main way of expressing my thoughts, so I have been doing this for about my whole life. Experts define my style as dark surrealism, but I consider myself a symbolist. I draw inspiration from Death, lucid dreams, mythology and vintage photos.
