About The Artwork

One of the most magnificent results of the combination of matter in the world is its huge mountains reaching to the sky. While the mountains make us feel safe with their huge appearances, at the very same time they lead us to feel amazed by recognizing the size of the world. With its hard and gigantic appearance, it reminds us how small and physically weak we are at once.
Maybe that's why nature is endeavoring to tolerate us. Nature remains silent despite the greediness, the redundant consumption and intervention of the humankind. Threats to fragile mountain ecosystems with enormous power are increasing, especially due to climate change, energy needs and mining. The contrast between the fascination of the mountains and the destruction of humankind is becoming more and more visible and turning into gray areas. It is now clear that a globalized civilization is on its way to destabilize the planet and then, destroy itself. We will begin to see the expression of the concerns regarding who should lift the burden.
