A portrait of a favela boy. I tried to document the emotion of a citizen in a Brazilian favela impartially, without glorifying or demonising the environment. There is a lot of emotion in the subject, from pain and fear to optimism, aspiration and excitement. This is predominantly a drawing with some black watercolour for the dark tones.
