Silents Sequence; the K in Knew I had seen but not Where Drawing

Dear Theo, Late last night I dropped a lit match into a bucket of water. It hissed as it breached the surface but the flame continued to glow and flicker as it descended to the bottom, I shit you not Bro! The only effect the water had was to arrest the flame from traveling down the stick for the tiny blaze remained at the tip like a shock of golden hair licking the water enveloping it. So there I stood agog, lit from below by this radiant pail. I thought about throwing open the window and calling out for neighbors to come and see the miracle but let's face it Brotherman these people already think I'm nuts after I ate the mayor's pet parrot. I still swear it said it was a chicken and Theo it tasted JUST LIKE CHICKEN! Anyway calmer thoughts prevailed and I kept the glowing pail to myself; carrying it from one side of my room to the other, swinging it gently to and fro as I paced and watched the shadows climb the walls as the soft light gave their dark forms agency. Alas, at some point I dozed and when I awoke the light had died out and the match was nowhere to be seen. The stranger thing was the collar of my bed shirt was soaking wet and when I observed my countenance in the mirror my eyebrows and beard were singed. I can only imagine, knowing me, that in a drowsy state I tried to get a closer look at the miracle match by plunging headlong into the depth of the bucket.
