About The Artwork
A special area in the mountains near the city of Salzburg the Nockstein is loved by all generations. It provides a phantastic view and a dramatic little climb near the top for children. Despite its small dimensions this mountain provides a real hike with the trail meandering among sheer rock and alpine vegetation. For me, the combination of brown and turquoise quick brushstrockes using acrylics and drawing with blue oil pastels to outline the landscape, was ideal to capture the late summer atmosphere.
