Photography has always been a great source of inspiration for me. When one looks at the artworks of Brassai, for a moment one begins to feel them, hearing the laughter of drunken cocottes and chansonnier songs, the clink of glasses, and the smell of fumes. Everyone here is sincere and free, ladies in tailcoats and gentlemen in dresses, lonely girls on the street, the faces of young bandits. The artwork is made in the author's technique in black colored pencil on toned paper.
