The series of drawings ”Drops of Madness” portrais characters as children, ambiguous, disturbing, unpleasant, spontainously expressing. Who has occasion to observe the peculiarities of these artworks. Is often thrilled by the untraditional details and by the expressive figures, together with the mysterious and glitter-blown atmosphere which sizzles in the heavy graphite. Who are these crooked types? What do their twisted eyes wish to dig up from my unconscious? They look through us, as if communicating with something beyond the highly-cured perceptions of our daily life. There are possibilities of intense meetings with the works of the series ”Drops of Madness”. They are quiet creatures who, provocatively, invite us to ”dance” on deep-lying platforms, surrounded by psychological and cultural undertones. They steal our freedom and remind us about our inherited limitations, which we just difficultly can amputate. The well-placed glitter details are blinking and the observer falls into a doubtful nest. We run into the red-eyed one, the jealous one, the gready one, the lying one, the angry one, the scared one, the abandoned one, the winner, the desperate one, the crazy one, the sad one, the dark one, the holy one, the quite one, the competing ones and a class full of distinctive characters and their relations in between. The characters of “Drops of madness” are described as "childish", a precise choise, which indicates how the society is not made of real adults.
