About The Artwork
Drawing the motif from reality to transpose it into a pure game of black lines, which quiver in the light and suggest the third dimension is an essential part of my approach. I love Paris and especially the hidden garden in the city. I like to depict secret places without the noise of the cars, nearly return to a time of the XXth century. Montparnasse near Bourdelle 's house and museum was a famous place for artists like Picasso, Braque, the surrealists and so on … This neighborhood has a big artistically heritage. I had the pleasure to stay in this workshop with its big glass roof, an ideal architecture for painters and sculptors ! I want to give poetry to the shapes which my 3D pen. This technique allows the drawing to be "in the air" and plays with light and shadow.

Influenced by the minimalist approach of Japanese art, she chooses to use black and white only, thus giving natural emphasis to empty spaces, she plays with the nuances of LIGHT AND SHADE, thereby infusing energy and poetry into her creative lines.
