The Natural Quirks collection is inspired by my passion for the natural world. The illustrations are hand painted in watercolours and woven together with flora and fauna, using colour to bring fun and flamboyance to each piece. I wanted to create something that the viewer could connect with, through characters and stories drawn from my own experiences. Skin Deep has its own story.......read below. Ugly or beautiful? What do you see? Are both more than just skin deep? I’ve been surrounded by a dark cloud of ugliness. Superficial, judgemental and mean. Silencing me, making me retreat inwards. I see good in all people. We share a world of brightness and love. People only do unkind things because they are unhappy within. But sometimes, for our own well-being, it’s best to walk away.
