I was born in Grenada in the West Indies and moved to England in the 1960s. I attended Stepney Green boys school and started drawing at the age of 13. My influences at that time were primarily "Marvel Comic" stories and illustrations. My potential was soon spotted by the head of the art department who encouraged me to pursue and nurture my talent. I was introduced to an art teacher who taught at St Martin and Chelsea School of Art and with his guidance and influence attended evening classes to further my experiences. I applied to Chelsea School of Art where I studied painting and graduated in art and design in 1977 and exhibited at the Riverside Studios in Hammersmith shortly thereafter. I have worked in advertising as a freelance illustrator and in 1988 I set up my own studio Pencil line illustration and provided work to various advertising agencies and direct clients producing visuals, illustration and artwork. I am currently working on a series of new artwork.
