Painting for me is a language, it creates a visual story,
speaking a truth that makes viewing my work not just
an experience, but a journey.
Inspired from recent shamanic teachings
and ceremonies i practice as a shamanic apprentice
now source and influence works over the past two years.
I create a sacred dream space to work within,
allowing me to paint with freedom
gaining vision to look in-to-me-see,
painting my internal dialogue .
i expose true self.
I become at one with paint
seeing beyond its capabilities
the paints speaks out to me
abstracted figures shapes form
all aspects of the ongoing relationship with myself
and others in my life
dark shadows appear hidden under layers of truths
transforming in various lights,
emerging out of my darkness guided toward the light source
the paint has become my tool.
i connect to the energy of the elements
each holds a place on the medicine wheel
in one of the four directions
i paint my internal mirror.
My work is my journal and journey, painting is my life purpose,
painting as i grow into a human being
instead of a human doing.
