Try Everything Collage

Try Everything are cut out words from a poster which had strong graphic appeal to me especially when laid on a textured and torn background. Placed on thin wooden board these torn posters taken from the streets of my home town of Brighton form a background surface texture together with other visual imagery. The cool intensity of the slogan and the vibrant background form an energetic and contrasting interplay which although separate, form a strong visual bond especially with the use of the black line around the type. My joy and love is torn and ripped posters revealing hidden segments of type behind and I hope this combination is obvious to the viewer and the great pleasure it was to make it.
