THIRD STEP Collage

For ever on the move, Nasbami is always looking for new ways to build up on his own handwriting. For an artist like him, it’s necessary to constantly keep experimenting with the way he makes his compositions: constant innovation is on of the key factors in his work. ‘First step’ and ‘Third step’ are two cut-out compositions from a series of experiments in summer 2016. In these works it’s clearly visible how Bami always tries to maintain a clear, visual handwriting throughout his works by appropriating color schemes, shapes and compositions.
