About The Artwork
I am inspired by nature and love all different types of the colour blue. One day when I was ill, I could not work in my studio, so I had to think about something smaller that I could do. I started cutting small items and eventually the pile grew higher and higher. While glueing the work became larger and larger. And after a while I had created my own blue starry night I also love the exquisite rugs and textiles from all over the world. So this is the result.

One of my favourite topics is The Fragility of Life, particularly from a feminine point of view. Born in the Netherlands, studied and lived in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
