About The Artwork
I made this artwork with friends in mind who are queer but not openly out. Inspired by the rainbow flag, I've altered the ratio and substituted the purple stripe with pink so you could potentially argue it's a landscape, not a flag. I want it to be a secret celebration of people's personalities, something anyone could display until they felt comfortable about who they are and their identity. Suitable for all households. Collage on canvas, finished with a matt spray sealer. Canvas size is 32" x 28" (81cm x 71cm) + raw timber frame. Artwork comes with coated wire on reverse, ready to hang.

Her arts practice favours pattern and repetition referencing organic forms found in nature – stars, woodgrain, striated rocks. Composition, colour, and layering play a structural role in her visual language.
