“Kool-Aid Blood” is an art piece that represents the artist’s youth, because the flavored drink was a popular children’s beverage. The drink was prepared by mixing the powder with sugar and water, just as she mixes juvenile dreams with “The Fool”, a character she painted in 2000 as a piece of her “Tarot” series. The Fool or The Jester is one of the 22 Major Arcana. –The Fool is almost always unnumbered because he is the spirit in search of experience; the real world is still expecting to bleed out his visions- she explained and continued, -When I fragmented “The Fool” I also cropped a photograph of mine when I was 19 years old in order to alter each image unity. A new circulatory system needs different arteries and veins flowing from childhood to adulthood, this is the Kool-Aid blood that binds dreams and hopes”-.

My work disarticulates the traditional composition and discovers its system of repetitions, this is my "fractal proposal", a term I borrow from the mathematician Benoît Mandelbrot, an irregular fragmentation which bends up at different scales. Most engimatic mathematic images are generated by what is known as dynamic systems in the plane, which can result in the art pieces I propose.
