Geometric Collage

Through my work I seek to produce art that exemplifies my understanding of balance shape and space. Each piece reflects a certain mood,aspect or tone,whether an improvisation of a familiar theme,or a feeling that springs from within. For me,there is no better place than New York City to find the beauty that inspires my creativity. My work is the result of many years spent developing artistic perception,and over time I have striven to perfect the sense of symmetry with which I try to infuse in many of my works. In those pieces inspired by Manhattan's stunning and diverse architecture, I often add a bit of playfulness. My use of letters and words adds a dimension that strengthens the visual, giving the work a voice,yet with an effect quite different from the original collages of the the twentieth century.
