About The Artwork
Art quilt installation. I’m interested in the interactions between colour and therefore constantly play with different arrangements of patterns, shapes and forms lines combining curves and circles within the design. May be grouped or hung individually. Each panel is mounted onto a wooden stretcher measuring 30cm square and may be hung individually or in any formation of your choice, depending on space available. Mirror plate fixing to a wall or hard surface.

I am a textile artist living and working in Neath, South Wales. I have been making art quilts for a very long time - over 30 years! I love colour and use it for its contrasts and its vibrant and intense nature. I cut and fuse fabrics to make collage and am inspired by, urban, social and popular culture and natural forms. Making fabric collage is a natural outlet for my passion for cloth, for exploiting its possibilities and for providing a dialogue with the viewer.
