Alexander Augusta is a famous model and though he is absoluteley handsome and sportive, full of action and vibrant, this photo shows him in tears. It is one of the most moving pictures on his instagram, because it united his beauty with sadness. I was so impressed by this photo that I wanted to work with it, I split it into peaces and starting playing with it. For me it fully developed its magic when large and cut into pieces. And than I got this balloon - another magic thing to me - and somehow, making an allusion to circus, Banksy and Quidams, I had to glue it to his face. Like this he gets clownesque for me. And I love the absurd, clownesque part of life: happyness, sadness, ephemere things like beauty and balloons.
