Stormy Weather Series 2016

This painting is one of a series of six small landscapes inspired by the dramatic storms we experience on the Southern Tablelands of NSW Australia. I try to capture the essence of a storm approaching, the feeling of being physically surrounded by the enormity of epic weather events. This series was painted in my studio during an extended period of storms over Winter in 2016. Storms inspire many of my landscapes.
