The Dark Tower

"Childe Roland to the Dark Tower came" Robert Browning poem, inspired on a line from William Shakespeare's play King Lear (who took inspiration from the fairy tale "Childe Rowland"), its a leit motiv in Stephen King Dark Tower series. And, in fact the term "childe" means untested knight which takes us to La Chanson de Roland (The song of Rolad)... enough to build a new work on it! The Tower simbolizes our souls. It shows the need to enter in that hidden and unassailable place to fight our fears, pains an hence pass our test to become knights.
