Palace Light Show

As part of local festivities the palace of Karlsruhe, the capital of Badenia in Germany is being illuminated as project of art. Various groups use the original facade of the architecture as screen for the light shows. The video type displays play with the original geometry of the facade and use their own ways of overlaying the architecture with forms of its own. The accompanying sound is amplifying the impression of a movie displayed on the palace. The lit tower with the flag in the rear always contrasts the illusion of the light show with the reality of the palace.
