Annihilation

Series of paintings inspired by Icelandic Glacial Rivers - the title "Annihilation / The combination of a particle and its antiparticle" Series of paintings inspired by Icelandic Glacial Rivers - "Annihilation / The combination of a particle and its antiparticle". This series is about transforming of glaciers into the water and that process can be beautiful and inspirational. These rivers are strongly affected by the highly-seasonal water supply from the glacier and by the large supply of sediment that arrives at the glacier terminus. This high sediment supply often makes them steep and braided. Lines of the rivers has purely abstract shape.
