I find inspiration on the real world and specially in Nature, an influence by Kant’s vision on the sublime. As i walk through the most overwhelming moments of my life, I realise that all of them make me feel completely ephemeral among Nature itself, making me feel impotent when facing the possiblity of life ending at any moment. A reminder of our temporality and insignificance. I intend to dive in the unknown and the unreachable, accepting our fragility before Nature. I believe the real goal of my paintings is to be capable of reviving history through the interactivity between new conceptual positions and material achievements, in order to give voice to what we usually forget.
