Inspired by my trip to Calcutta India in 1987- 1988. Also base on a group of ex prostitutes now sewing jute bags in India to fund their own life. Good on them! I hope this piece of art help me tell the story abt these courageous women standing up and changing their own lives and making it better. about 620mm by 1230mm, Acrylic and thread on canvas.
