Earth Matters

The series Earth Matters begins with Fat Free Ocean, when I painted a three-dimensional plastic background. I have been deeply concerned about the plight of our world for some time, and when this painting was completed, I realized that the added dimension gave the image more depth and weight. I will continue to paint in this manner, and hopefully, capture some of the beauty and fragility of our world.
