The Peripheral World Series

Color pencil drawings over mixed media background. Inspired by dioramas constructed by the artist of tissues and recycled papers, created to resemble a landscape. Art Venti's process begins with the diorama. Over the months that he works on each new drawing, he allows his imagination to freely revise and add shapes to reveal a futuristic, other worldly landscape with fluid shapes, floating or rooted in a vista of vital energy.
