Encuentros de Café

This collection of drawings of emotional portraits about coffee encounters. It represents the search and hunting of characters who frequent typical cafes in the picturesque town of San Lorenzo de El Escorial. They are synthetic exercise drawings that try to capture a minimalist stroke the essence and the instant emotion of a character. And they go in pairs looking for dialogue or the introspective look of intimate thoughts. They are made with graphite smile paper on a drawing album. The measures of the drawings are 33 x 23 cm and are mounted on a color paperboard with dimensions of 50 x 70 cm.
