BLACK&WHITE Portraits

This is my new series of paintings inspired by photographs by Richard Avedon, in which he used contrasting light and deep shadows. I used this method to convey only the most important thing in my paintings and to emphasize the beauty and grace of a man's face. Male sexuality is undoubtedly one of the most important themes in my art. I cannot explain beauty, but I can study interesting light situations and turn them into a very impressive experience. Painting a portrait on my canvas, I take it into my soul. I hope that someone, looking at my paintings, will think about freedom and love.
