BIGOS & POLONEZ

Bigos - a national Polish dish consisting of cabbage, meat and mushrooms. In Polish, saying "bigos" means disorder, confusion. Polonez - a national traditional dance, once called a court dance. In the background of the paintings, characteristic places, figures, dishes, rituals of Poles and even Slavs from pre-Christian times are depicted. Black, inflated figures placed in front, they assume dancing poses, symbolizing the cultural contribution to the history of Poland.
