This picture is part of my new series called “Western Realty.” I’ve driven tens of thousands of miles on back roads all over the western United States, seeking out structures and signage that struck me as uniquely whimsical or beautiful. Afterward, I spent hundreds of hours refining my original photographs to produce the finished images you see here.
