The Tri-Horn of Gabriel The first attempt at sounding Gabriel's horn, by that of a mortal, resulted in a weather calamity the likes of which had never been seen before. Great billowing clouds of white formed, quickly turning into the deepest of greys as they began blotting out the sky, then the thunderheads came and with them an impenetrable darkness. Their enormous claps shook the body and caused the soul to tremble. It was said they rang across the face of the Earth and were heard by every inhabitant. The player, although having taken every precaution, found himself within the eye of the tempest and stopped after sounding only the first reed. Afterwards it was secreted away. It remains a mystery as to what would happen if all three notes were ever played simultaneously. interpreted by F.D. Artherhults

My assemblage work follows in the tradition of indigenous cultures, the Eskimo, African and Native American where found objects are the raw materials from which their religious and ethnic icons are created. I consider myself an archeologist sitting beside a dig at the edge of infinity, selecting and reconstructing artifacts of both past and future.
